Most people arrive having already told their story many times. Here you tell it once, to the person who treats you.
Harmony Health is a small practice on purpose. Every evaluation, every refill, every follow up comes from the same clinician who knows your history, so nothing gets handed off and nothing gets lost along the way.
Care for a lifetime
Board-certified for all ages, so your whole family feels at home in one convenient office. Move the slider to see what care looks like at each age.

8What a psychiatric nurse practitioner can do for you
More than the prescription pad. Open any line to see what it actually includes.
Evaluation and diagnosis
The first appointment runs 60 to 75 minutes. We cover symptoms, sleep, medical history, family history, what has helped before and what has not, and what you want your life to look like six months from now.
You leave with a diagnosis explained in language that makes sense, and a written plan you can take home and reread.
60 to 75 minutes, virtual or in officePrescribing
Antidepressants, mood stabilizers, ADHD medications, and sleep support, sent electronically to your pharmacy.
Before anything is started you will know what it treats, when to expect a change, what side effects to watch for, and what the plan is if it does not work.
Ongoing medication management
Most of psychiatry is not the first prescription, it is everything after. Dose adjustments, side effect troubleshooting, simplifying a regimen that grew too complicated, and knowing when to hold steady.
Secure messaging with the clinician between visits allows the conversation to continue while you wait for the next appointment.
Messages answered within one business dayLabs and monitoring
Lab tests are ordered when they are needed. Results are checked carefully and explained to you properly.
Results reviewed with you, not just filedTherapeutic work in session
Follow up visits may include supportive therapy, motivational conversations, and practical strategies for sleep and daily routine.
If you and your care team decide on weekly therapy, you will be connected with a specialist chosen specifically to support your goals.
Part of your follow-up visitsTapering and second opinions
If you are carrying a diagnosis that never quite fit, or you have been on the same medication for too long without improvement, you may benefit from evaluation by a different clinician.
Any tapering, when appropriate, is done slowly, with full clinician support and a clear week by week plan.
Second opinions welcomeCoordination and paperwork
With your permission, direct coordination may be initiated with your therapist, pediatrician, or primary care doctor so that all providers have appropriate clinical information about the patient.
School accommodation and 504 documentation, workplace paperwork, and letters completed when they are clinically supported.
Records and releases handled for youWhat people come in with
You do not need the right word for it yet. Sorting that out is the first part of the work.
Worry that has stopped responding to reason, or a body that stays braced even on a good day. We look at what is driving it, what has already been tried, and whether medication, skills, or both make sense.
Ask about this →Low mood, flat motivation, or sleep and appetite that have drifted. We rule out medical contributors first, then build a plan you can actually follow on a low-energy week.
Ask about this →Full evaluation for adults and children, including people who were missed as kids. If medication is appropriate, we start carefully and adjust based on how your days actually go.
Ask about this →Sudden episodes that feel physical and frightening. Treatment usually pairs a medication plan with concrete skills for the moment an episode starts.
Ask about this →Careful diagnosis matters here, because the treatment differs sharply from depression alone. Ongoing management focuses on stability, sleep, and catching shifts early.
Ask about this →Intrusive thoughts and the rituals that grow around them. We name what is happening, treat it directly, and connect you with specialized therapy when that is the right next step.
Ask about this →Care that moves at your pace. Nothing is dug into before you are ready, and the focus stays on sleep, safety, and daily function first.
Ask about this →Mood and anxiety shifts after a birth, including intrusive thoughts that frighten new parents. Prescribing accounts for feeding decisions and is discussed openly.
Ask about this →Sleep is treated as its own problem, not only a symptom. That means looking at habits and timing before reaching for a sedative, and reviewing anything already prescribed.
Ask about this →Loss is not a disorder, and it does not always need medication. Sometimes it needs a clinician with enough time to talk it through, and a check that it has not tipped into depression.
Ask about this →Exhaustion that sleep does not fix. We separate what is situational from what is clinical, so you are not medicated for a problem that needs a different kind of change.
Ask about this →Common and fixable. We review the full history, look at dose, timing, interactions, and whether the original diagnosis still fits.
Ask about this →Not sure where yours fits? Send a message and we will figure it out together.

Diloram Kamilova, PMHNP-BC
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the sole clinician at Harmony Health, I am dedicated to your consistency of care. Here, you will never be passed between providers, and you will never have to explain your history from the beginning again.
Before opening this practice, I worked in hospital and community mental health settings treating children, teens, and adults. Too often, I saw good people rushed through fifteen-minute appointments. While fifteen minutes is enough time to renew a prescription, it is not enough time to truly understand a person. Harmony Health is built the other way around.
Good questions
Can a nurse practitioner prescribe psychiatric medication?
Yes. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am fully licensed to evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe psychiatric medications. We will work together to find the right treatment plan for you.
How much does a visit cost?
For out-of-network or self-pay patients, the initial intake visit is $250 and follow-up visits are $125. Most commercial insurance plans are accepted, in which case your cost depends on your plan's benefits. A superbill is provided for out-of-network reimbursement, and a written Good Faith Estimate is available on request.
Do you take insurance?
We accept most commercial insurance plans. If you are not sure whether yours is covered, contact the practice and we will check before you book. For out-of-network or self-pay care, the initial intake is $250 and follow-up visits are $125, and a superbill is provided so you can submit a claim for out-of-network reimbursement.
How soon can I be seen?
New patient visits are usually available within one to two weeks, or within a few days when urgent care is necessary. Once you submit a request, you will receive a response within one business day with scheduling options.
Is telehealth as effective as an in-person visit?
For most psychiatric care, yes, and it eliminates the stress of commuting, parking, and taking extended time off work. However, in-person visits are always available whenever they are the better fit for your comfort and care.
What if my child needs care too?
Children ages six and up are welcome in my practice, with a parent or guardian present. I often care for multiple family members, which makes coordinating your family's overall mental health needs much simpler and more cohesive.
Insurance and fees
No surprises, and no need to call three numbers to find out what a visit costs.
